operations of the TLS/SSL (encrypted) side of \fBssl\fR.

The SSL engine inherits the behaviour of \fBrbio\fR and \fBwbio\fR, respectively.
If a BIO is non-blocking, the \fBssl\fR will also have non-blocking behaviour.
